About SWOG Cancer Trials
People like you make SWOG Cancer Research Network trials possible. Our trials are run with volunteer participants, designed by doctors, and funded by tax dollars from the National Cancer Institute and charitable gifts from donors.
Founded in 1956, SWOG has run over 1,400 trials that have saved more than 3 million years of human life. Our trials meet the strictest safety and quality standards. And we’re committed to make sure everyone who gets cancer – people of color, rural residents, military veterans and more – can get access to a cancer clinical trial. Check out our SWOG statement on diversity, equity, and inclusion here.
