Eligibility Criteria Expand/Collapse
Clinical diagnosis of adenocarcinoma of the right, left or sigmoid colon based on physical exam and diagnostic workup with final confirmation by pathology. Contraindications: Advanced local dz rendering laparoscopic resection not possible, stage IV dz, rectal cancer, acutely obstructed or perforated colon requiring urgent surgery, transverse colon cancer, ASA classification IV or V.
