Clinical Trials Help

To find the study or studies you want, click the appropriate Search: category (Open, Closed, or Published) on the Search Protocols page. At the resulting search page, make your selection of search criteria from one or more of the available options. Use any or all the parameters you like to get just the one or ones you want. Then click the Start Search button at the bottom of the page. You will then have a listing of all the studies that meet your search criteria. To see the abstract of a study, click the study number in the gray bar.

You can use these red buttons towards the top of the Studies section pages to start a new Open/Closed/Published Protocols Search or jump back to the last Search Results page.

Abstract Pages

On the Abstract Page for any protocol, click the participating institution catogories listed for the protocol and you will see a list of the institutions in each of those categories.

Open Studies

Where is This Protocol Open?On Open Study Abstract Pages, there is a Where Is This Protocol Open tab at the lower right of the page. Clicking that tab will produce a listing of the specific institutions at which that protocol has been approved for patient enrollment by that institution's IRB (Institutional Review Board).

Published Studies

The process for searching Published Studies is the same as for open and closed studies, except that there are several additional publications search criteria available from which to choose. Results of the search will be the bibliographic listings of published manuscripts and abstracts in our database, which you may use to find the desired publications in your local medical library or on line.
